On Tuesday January 25, the Delaware County, PA Visits (DCV) and West Chester, PA Visits (WCV) offices officially welcomed their new office neighbors: Bayada’s first operational Hospice office in the state of Pennsylvania. This is our fourth Hospice office. The other three are in Vermont.

Pennsylvania Media Hospice (PMH) Director Linda Trout was surprised and very grateful for the warm neighborly welcome that included a Bayada red orchid for her new office space and, of course, plenty of delicious cake! Linda and Client Services Manager Suzann Tedrow are excited to start their very important work in Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties, and they are expecting their official licensure and accreditation to arrive in the very near future.

Linda shares, “We received such a warm welcome from DCV, WCV, and many others! As we all know, Bayada has such a wonderful reputation and adding Hospice is a perfect fit to our Bayada services for our clients and families. We feel privileged to be part of the Bayada family.” Please join us in welcoming Linda and Suzann to the Bayada neighborhood.

Thanks for checking out our new office blog.  We are going to use this site to communicate on an even grander scale to both office staff and field staff.  Almost like a newsletter, www.DCVoffice.com will be used to share important clinical information, upcoming programs, meetings, and initatives, as well as “fun stuff” like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, etc.

Information will be posted frequently here so make sure to bookmark the site to your favorites, and definitely feel free to comment on any posts you find interesting, informative, or fun.  Also, if you have any ideas for a post, don’t hesitate to email Dustin (dgettel@bayada.com).  Again, welcome to DCV’s little slice of cyberspace!!
